It’s all about the Standard. 
The Likeness started as a band in Burlington, VT, but it is more than that now: the Likeness is an artist collective setting a new standard for music and graphic art.
Our Standard is simple: 33 & 1/3.
In a business that’s notoriously and primarily concerned with profit, the Likeness Standard is committed to giving 67% of every product sold and every donation received to Creatives and Catalysts.
Not 67% of the profit – 67% of the sale.
That means that the contributing artist (Creative) receives 33.3% of the sale, and the connected cause (Catalyst) receives 33.3%. For direct donations, 33.3% is distributed evenly among our artist collective, and 33.3% goes to the Catalyst that you, the donor, choose.
Only after that does the Standard take in a final 33.3%. That’s to keep the artist collective, site, store, and events humming so that awareness and funds continue to be raised.
But the fact is, we don’t aim to profit. We aim to serve.
